“The Last Shot,” was a defining moment in MJ's illustrious basketball career and a significant event in NBA history occurring during Game 6 of the 1998 NBA Finals between the Chicago Bulls and the Utah Jazz.
With the Bulls trailing by one point and only 5.2 seconds left on the clock, Jordan received the ball. He drove to his right, crossed over to his left, evading defender Bryon Russell and took a 20-foot jump shot. The shot went in, giving the Bulls an 87-86 lead with just seconds on the clock. This basket secured the Bulls’ sixth NBA Championship in eight years and solidified Jordan’s legacy as one of the greatest basketball players of all time.
